He has been working at the university since 2003 and lectures on the following disciplines:
- biophysics
- protection of the population and economic facilities in emergency situations, radiation safety.
The field of scientific activity is the radioecology of natural ecosystems, prediction of the behavior of radionuclide in ecosystems based on mathematical modeling.
In 1998 he defended his dissertation for a doctorate in biological sciences.
He is an author and co-author of more than 180 scientific publications, 2 scientific monographs, 6 teaching manuals and 5 patents in Belarus and Russian Federation .
Dvornik A.M. carried out scientific management of many projects within the framework of the State Program for Elimination of Consequences of the Accident on ChNPP, participated in devel-opment of regulations and guidelines on radiation safety and radiation control at the forestry, the concept of rehabilitation of contaminated areas.
He has been involved in implementation of international projects of the European Union ECP, COPERNICUS, PHYTOR. From 1995 to 2002 he was an international expert of the IAEA on forest radioecology. Dvornik A.M. is a current member of the International Union of Radioe-cologists (IRU) and the international environmental union (ECOETHIC). He received an individ-ual grants from the Royal Scientific Society of Great Britain and the Government of Japan.
Since 2003 - member of the Advisory Board of the American Biographical Institute and awarded the Gold Medal of Honor. He was awarded the title of "International Scientist 2004" by the Inter-national Biographical Center in Cambridge (UK). Dvornik A.M. is a scientific editor of the pro-ceedings of the international seminar on contemporary issues of forest radioecology, a member of the editorial board of the journal “Proceedings of Gomel State University”, a member of the Board of scientific councils for defending of Ph.D. thesises.
